Tatiana Huezo, a gifted and accomplished filmmaker, originally hails from the beautiful country of El Salvador, where she took her first breath in the year 1970. Her academic journey is characterized by her rigorous studies in the esteemed field of film at the renowned Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) and the prestigious Universidad Pompeu Fabra, both located in the culturally rich and cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, Spain.
Tatiana's remarkable career has been marked by her dedication to mentoring and guiding the next generation of filmmakers, with esteemed professorships held at CENTRO, CCC, and the ECAM.
Tatiana has not only made a significant impact in her profession as a filmmaker, but has also demonstrated her expertise and dedication to the industry by serving as a judge at numerous prestigious film festivals.
Some of the most notable festivals where Tatiana has exercised her critical eye and contributed to the evaluation of exceptional cinematic works include FICUNAM, DocumentaMadrid, and the Festival de Lima.
In addition to her esteemed career as a filmmaker, Tatiana's first documentary film, the highly acclaimed "El lugar más pequeño", has garnered widespread recognition and acclaim, participating in over 50 national and international film festivals, and impressively earning an impressive 40 awards or more.
Tatiana is currently fully immersed in the production of her second feature film, "La Tempestad", a cinematic endeavor that serves as a shining example of her unrelenting commitment to her artistic passion and profession.
