Ted DiBiase, the son of a professional wrestler, embarked on a wrestling career that began as a fan favorite, only to later transform into a heel, a persona that would define his professional wrestling journey.
DiBiase's rise to fame commenced in the late 1980s, as he entered the World Wrestling Federation (WWF),where he would gain notoriety as "The Million Dollar Man."
During his tenure in the WWF, DiBiase employed a valet, known as "Virgil" (formerly "Soul Train Jones"),and played a pivotal role in a story line that marked the end of Hulk Hogan's long WWF championship reign.
DiBiase remained with the WWF for nearly a decade, eventually transitioning into a managerial role for the emerging "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
However, after Austin (then known as "The Ring Master") suffered a loss, DiBiase departed the WWF and joined the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as an "advisor" to Hogan's new NWO (New World Order) faction.
