TC, a native of Chicago, Illinois, grew up as an only child in the LeClaire Courts projects, where his beloved mother raised him. He attended and graduated from Chicagoland schools, after which he majored in architecture and creative design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his time at university, he became a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
As a trained dancer and Emmy Award-winning actor, TC was encouraged by his family to pursue a career in the arts. He has performed in numerous iconic plays, musicals, and tour productions, including "The Wiz", "Sesame Street Live", "Dreamgirls", "Ain't Misbehavin", and "Blackberry Daze". TC is best known for his roles in the FOX sitcom "Living Single", where he portrayed Kyle Barker, and in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, where he voiced Mace Windu. He has also lent his voice to the God of War video game series, where he has been voicing Kratos for many years.
In addition to his voice acting work, TC has appeared in a number of television shows, including the Oprah Winfrey Network's mystery drama series "Greenleaf", where he had a recurring role, and the PBS Kids animated series "Clifford the Big Red Dog", where he voiced Samuel. He has also made guest appearances on "The CW's superhero drama series "Black Lightning", "CMT's musical soap opera series "Nashville", and "The CW's superhero drama series "Black Lightning".
As a gifted vocalist, TC has the vocal range of Al Jarreau and the percussive skill of Bobby McFerrin, two artists he admires. His recordings and live performances offer an eclectic mix of classics and new grooves, each with his signature sound.
