Jordan Mark Witzigreuter, better known by his stage name The Ready Set, is a talented American singer-songwriter born on November 14, 1989. He is the lead vocalist and sole member of his act, often accompanied by a backup band during live performances.
Throughout his career, Witzigreuter has released an impressive six studio albums, including Syntax and Bright Lights, Tantrum Castle, I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming, The Bad & the Better, I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love, and Cherryland. He has also published nine extended plays and fourteen singles, with the commercially successful single "Love Like Woe" being his most notable work to date.
In addition to his work as The Ready Set, Witzigreuter has briefly released music under the name Onlychild from 2019 to 2022. Under this moniker, he has released twelve singles and a four-track EP titled Solstice.
Witzigreuter is also an integral part of the synthpop band Nekokat, alongside Cameron Walker and Jess Bowen of the Summer Set.
In 2021, Witzigreuter collaborated with Walker to establish the music label Swim Team Records. The company has featured a diverse range of artists, including Future Coyote, TALKBAK, and Casey Abrams.
