Thom Fitzgerald is a renowned filmmaker who has made a significant impact in the industry since his debut feature film in 1997. He has garnered an impressive array of international awards, including the prestigious Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television Award (Genie),the FIPRESCI European International Critics' Prize, the Emerging Master Award at the Seattle International Film Festival, and the Reader Jury of the "Siegessäule" Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.
