As a renowned running back, he played twelve seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Castar Applications, Inc., a mobile application developer.

Jones received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in just three years and established the "Thomas Quinn Jones I Academic Scholarship" at his alma mater. He is committed to donating his brain for research to the Sports Legacy Institute, which studies the link between high-impact sports and brain trauma, and is developing a documentary about the NFL.
