After a nine-year hiatus, during which time he appeared in various feature and short films, Tim Lounibos made a triumphant return to acting on television. His first year back was a whirlwind of exciting roles, including a wrestling ref on The Real O'Neals in 2016, a detective on Doubt in 2017, a conflicted father in No Spring Without Winter also in 2017, and a recurring role as a therapist on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless, which premiered in 1973.
The following year, Lounibos continued to impress audiences with appearances on A.P. Bio in 2018 and Criminal Minds in 2015, and in 2019, he had guest-starring roles as a Southern police chief on NCIS, a distraught father on Hawaii Five-0, and as C.I.U. investigator Ed Sung, armed with patrol cop instincts and level-headed humor, on Bosch, which premiered in 2014. In a recent development, Lounibos guest-starred as Judge Anthony Sorrentino on NCIS: Los Angeles.
Aside from his acting career, Lounibos is also passionate about script and playwriting, and has had two of his plays produced in Los Angeles. He is thrilled to see big and small screens representing society at large and is looking forward to being a part of this refreshing change in today's entertainment industry.
