Tim Maculan has maintained a prolific career in the entertainment industry spanning over two decades. He is most notably recognized for his recurring roles in the acclaimed television series "Six Feet Under" and "Cybill". His performances have earned him a GLAAD media award nomination and have made him a sought-after guest star in numerous television shows.
Throughout his career, Tim has appeared in over thirty television programs, including critically acclaimed shows such as "Dexter", "Grey's Anatomy", "Entourage", and "The Drew Carey Show". He has also had notable roles in films such as "Spider-Man 3", "Inside Out", "Matchstick Men", and "Duplex".
Tim's early beginnings in acting started in high school productions, community theaters, and professional theaters in his hometown of Rockford, Illinois. He later studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The DePaul/Goodman School of Drama before moving to New York City to pursue his professional career.
As a member of The Actors Space, Inc., Tim appeared in their revival of "Hatful of Rain" and earned critical acclaim for his work in "Found a Peanut", a show that launched his career in television. Although he quickly transitioned to television, Tim has continued to nurture his love for theater, creating the role of Ezra Twain in the world premiere of "Diva" at La Jolla Playhouse, working in national tours of "Beauty and the Beast" and "South Pacific", and performing in various productions in Los Angeles and New York City.
Most recently, Tim had the opportunity to work on "Verticals and Horizontals", a provocative collection of plays by Gary Garrison at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City.
