With a strong educational foundation, Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from San Francisco State University, followed by a Master of Arts in film from the University of Bristol in England.
As an actor, Tim has made notable appearances in various projects, including the popular TV show 24, the sci-fi feature film Mnemophrenia, and the dramatic short film Down.
In addition to his acting credits, Tim is also a published short story writer, with his work featured in numerous literary magazines.
Tim's directorial debut, the short film Terminus, was a zero-budget production that he wrote, produced, and directed. The film received widespread critical acclaim for its engaging story and impressive performances, earning an 8.5/10 rating from Film Threat Magazine.
Building on the success of Terminus, Tim wrote and directed his first feature-length film, Nowhere, which was shot on a micro budget. The film received positive reviews and enjoyed a successful festival run, with Tim garnering several prestigious awards, including Best Director at the Monaco International Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Niagara Canada International Film Festival, and Best First-Time Filmmaker at the Montreal Independent Film Festival. Tim's second feature-length screenplay, Pieces of Us, was a finalist at the Cambridge Script Festival and was subsequently optioned and filmed in the summer of 2024, with a planned release in late 2025. In the film, Tim takes on the co-lead role of Jack Holloway.
Most recently, Tim was commissioned to write his third feature-length screenplay, Being Frank, which he has completed and is currently in active development.
