Biography

Tim, a talented individual hailing from Baldwin, Long Island, made his Broadway debut in 1975, sharing the stage with esteemed actresses Marybeth Hurt and Glenn Close in the production of The Member of the Wedding.

Throughout his illustrious career, Tim has served as a stand-in for various prominent actors, commencing in 1980 and continuing until the present day. Notable examples of his work in this capacity include substituting for John Hurt in An Englishman in New York, Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt, Sean Penn in Fair Game, Steve Coogan in Happyish, and most recently, Brian Cox on the inaugural season of the HBO series Succession.

In addition to his stand-in work, Tim has also had the opportunity to take on principal roles in a variety of projects. He portrayed an irate Lehman employee in The Big Short, a benevolent priest in St. Vincent, a kindly doctor in The Affair, another kindly priest in Orange is the New Black, a show-tune aficionado in Younger, and most recently, an appreciative theatergoer in The Greatest Showman.

In 2017, Tim had the distinction of being a principal cast member on Saturday Night Live. In this capacity, he served as the photo double for the show's creator, Lorne Michaels. Unfortunately, his time on the show was marked by a memorable and humorous incident in which he was pelted with popcorn and subsequently shoved up against a glass door by Leslie Jones.
