Tiziano Cella, a native of Rome, currently resides in the same city where he began his cinematic journey. After completing his high school studies, he enrolled in the University of Cinema in Rome, graduating with a degree in History and Critique of Cinema in 2009.
In 2010, Cella directed his first short film, "Maledetta Cuba" (Damned Cuba),which he describes as a "training film" to hone his skills with limited experience and budget. The following year, he released "Imago Vocis" (2011),a short film that marked a significant departure from his previous work and earned him his first prizes and official selections.
Cella then took a hiatus from his career for over a year to focus on improving his skills as a director, actor, and author. During this period, he worked tirelessly to refine his craft, preparing himself for his next projects.
In 2013, Cella completed "Temple Mount," a short film that stands out for its powerful audio and visual impact. This film features a unique blend of action scenes and a transcendent script, a departure from the typical comedies or dramas about social issues that often dominate the short film genre. "Temple Mount" earned Cella more prizes and official selections, and he also appeared in a small role as the Headsman.
Later in 2013, Cella joined forces with director Aldo Iuliano to work on the comical short film "La Lezione," in which he played the antagonist to main character Luca di Giovanni. This film won numerous prizes and further solidified Cella's reputation as a talented actor and director.
The success of his past projects led Cella to be cast as the main character in the long film "Doll Syndrome," directed by the renowned Italian director Domiziano Cristopharo. The film features an impressive cast, including Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Roberta Gemma, and Ruggero Deodato.
Currently, Cella is busy with various social events, music video productions, and the upcoming release of "Doll Syndrome." In 2015, he wrote, directed, and acted in the thriller film "Subject 0: Shattered Memorie," which is set to debut in North America and Italy in 2016 under the title "Subject 0."
