Tom is a talented character actor who has played a wide range of roles throughout his career. He graduated from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts on an ITT International Fellowship in the Fulbright Competition.
Tom's notable roles include Brian David Mitchell in the CBS television movie "The Elizabeth Smart Story", Alfredo Sawyer in "Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw 3", Sgt. Pepper in "Dances With Wolves", National Security Officer Jack Doherty in "Air Force One", and Mosely Baker in "The Alamo".
He has also worked with several notable directors and producers, including Kevin Costner, John Lee Hancock, Michael Bay, and Renny Harlin. Tom has appeared in numerous television shows, including "The Beast", "West Wing", and "Journeyman".
In addition to his acting career, Tom is a talented musician and singer-songwriter. He has released several albums, including "Porchlight On In Oregon", "Still Waters (A Collection of Years)", "House at the end of the Block", and "Watershed of an Earlier Heart: Songs of the Oregon Troubadour".
Tom has received several scholarships and awards for his work, including a scholarship to Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and a Resident Member of The American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Connecticut.
Despite his success, Tom has never owned a house, but has recently purchased his first piece of real estate - a burial plot in his native Oregon.
