Tony Craig's journey in the art world began at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he honed his skills in the visual arts. He furthered his education at the prestigious California Institute of the Arts, laying the foundation for a successful career in animation.
For 23 years, Tony has worked as a talented artist in the animation industry, contributing to a wide range of beloved shows. His impressive resume includes stints at Warner Brothers, where he worked on "Tiny Toon Adventures" and "Animaniacs". He also served as executive producer and director on several notable projects, such as "The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa", "101 Dalmatians" (TV series),"Mickey MouseWorks", "House of Mouse", "Lilo and Stitch" (TV series),and "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse".
As his career progressed, Tony continued to diversify his portfolio by taking on various freelance projects. He has worked on numerous current animation projects, including "The Looney Tunes Show" and "Curious George". More recently, he has been involved in the development of "Exchange Student Zero" and the upcoming "Be Cool Scooby Doo".
Throughout his illustrious career, Tony has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most iconic figures in the animation industry. He has worked alongside the legendary Chuck Jones, Gene Kelly, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, and Roy E. Disney, among others. Despite his many accomplishments, Tony continues to prioritize his own artistic pursuits, and is now based in North Carolina, where he devotes more time to his personal artwork.
