Born and raised in Minnesota's vibrant theatre scene, he spent most of his formative years immersed in the magical world of musical theatre. His passion for the craft only grew stronger as he progressed through his education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Hamline University.
After honing his skills at the prestigious Groundlings Improv program, Tony went on to spend four seasons working at the esteemed Bloomington Civic Theatre, where he had the opportunity to star in an impressive 12 productions. His impressive resume continued to grow as he landed the lead role in the popular educational sketch comedy children's show "Madabout TV" for three seasons.
In addition to his impressive stage credits, Tony is an active and dedicated member of the improv community. He has had the privilege of studying and performing at some of the world's most renowned improv institutions, including the Upright Citizen's Brigade and The Groundlings. Currently, he is a member of two thriving improv teams, the Kickbiscuits, which performs monthly at the Neon Venus, and Can you Help Me Move at Open Space.
Tony's impressive list of credits also includes starring roles in feature films, such as the romantic comedy Christian Mingle, written and directed by the talented Corbin Bernsen and starring the lovely Lacey Chabert.
