Anthony Borden Ward, a charismatic and physically striking individual, was born on June 10, 1963, in Santa Cruz, California. He spent his formative years in San Jose, California, where he was raised by his parents, Robert Borden Ward, born in Kansas, and Karen Elizabeth Castro, who hails from Northern California.
Ward's journey into the world of modeling began when he was discovered by a scout while attending West Valley College in Saratoga, California, at the tender age of eighteen. This marked the start of a long and illustrious career, during which he has had the privilege of working with some of the most renowned photographers in the industry, including Herb Ritts, Karl Lagerfeld, Steven Klein, Terry Richardson, Greg Gorman, Jack Pierson, and Steven Meisel.
Throughout his career, Ward has appeared in print ads and television commercials for a wide range of high-profile clients, including Calvin Klein Underwear, D&G Fragrance, Wrangler Blue Bell Jeans, H&M, Dolce & Gabbana, Dewars Scotch Whisky, H.I.S. Jeans, Nordstrom, Chanel Platinum Egoiste, Fendi, Volvo, and Hugo Boss.
