Tore Sagen, the sibling of renowned individual Steinar Sagen, spent his formative years on the picturesque Holmlia in Oslo, Norway. His early educational pursuits began at the esteemed Holmlia ungdomsskole, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Subsequently, he enrolled in the reputable Nordstrand videregående skole, where he not only honed his academic skills but also discovered his passion for the performing arts by working as a lighting technician at two school revues.
Initially, Tore's academic trajectory was set to continue at the prestigious University of Oslo, with a degree in his sights. However, his professional journey took an unexpected turn when he secured a job as a redaktionsassistent at NRK P3, Norway's leading public service broadcaster. His first foray into reporting was in the popular program Holger Nielsens metode, and concurrently, he began studying at the esteemed Westerdals Reklameskole, where he further developed his skills in the field of communications. However, his academic pursuits were once again put on hold when he landed a full-time position as a produsent in the radioprogram Kyrre, alongside the talented Kyrre Holm Johannessen.
Like his brother Steinar, Tore was an active and dedicated member of the speideren during his youth, fostering valuable life skills and friendships that would last a lifetime. Today, Tore shares his life with his loyal and beloved hund, Biggie, a constant companion and source of joy.
