Before embarking on her academic journey, Vanessa was an integral part of her junior college and university's theatrical endeavors, actively participating in numerous plays and productions.
Her undeniable passion for the performing arts led her to join the esteemed Singapore Repertory Theatre's Young Company in 2010, where she underwent a rigorous two-year training program designed to hone her craft and further her artistic growth.
Vanessa has built an extensive and remarkable repertoire of theatrical performances, encompassing a wide range of productions across various stages and venues. Notably, she has had the privilege of taking on roles in "Love & Other Oddities", a captivating production presented by Theatre Lab Productions. Additionally, she has showcased her talents in "Grimm Tales", a enchanting show brought to life by the esteemed Singapore Repertory Theatre. Furthermore, her impressive resume boasts credits in "Ai Si", a thought-provoking production staged by Little Red Shop, as well as "Off Centre" and "Fat Pig", two impactful shows presented by Yellow Chair Productions.
