Born on September 2, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas, Vicki Trickett was the daughter of Lawrence and Doris Trickett.
Following her freshman year at the University of Nebraska, Vicki made the bold decision to leave academia behind and pursue a career in the entertainment industry in Hollywood, California. For several years, she worked as a studio actress for Columbia Pictures, though ultimately found herself unfulfilled by the glamour of Tinseltown.
Seeking a more meaningful and fulfilling path, Vicki returned to her education, enrolling in History and Anthropology at Cal State Fullerton. Upon securing her teaching credential, she embarked on a successful teaching career at University High School in Irvine, California, where she spent many years sharing her passion for learning with her students.
In her golden years, Vicki remained an adventurous spirit, boasting an impressive travel resume that spanned six continents. Upon her retirement from teaching, she embarked on a new chapter, taking on the role of lecturer for Princess Cruises, sharing her knowledge and expertise with travelers from around the world.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Vicki also dedicated her time to giving back to her community, serving as a docent at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California.
