Biography

Vladimir Steklov's life journey began on January 3, 1948, in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, where he took his first breath as a newborn baby.

Vladimir Steklov's earliest foray into the world of performance art began in the ninth grade, where he became an integral part of a theatrical studio, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion.

Years later, in 1966, Steklov achieved a significant milestone, graduating from secondary school number 66 in Astrakhan, marking a major accomplishment in his educational journey.

After successfully finishing his academic pursuits in the year 1970, he proceeded to enroll at the renowned Astrakhan Theatre Institute, where he focused on honing his skills in the disciplines of acting for both drama and film.

Vladimir Steklov's illustrious career in the performing arts began in 1972, when he joined the prestigious Dramatic Theatre named after Ostrovsky in Kineshma, a renowned institution that has been a hub for theatrical excellence since its establishment.

For the next five years, from 1977 to 1982, Steklov honed his craft as an actor at the Kamchatka Drama Theatre in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a theatre that has been an integral part of the region's cultural landscape.

In 1981, Steklov made the move to the Moscow Drama Theatre named after Stanislavsky, where he would spend the next eight years, from 1981 to 1989, perfecting his craft as an actor.

Steklov's foray into the world of cinema began in 1983, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his already impressive career.

From the year 1989, this individual began to take to the stage at the esteemed Theatre named after Lenin's Komsomol, where they had the opportunity to hone their craft and gain valuable experience.

As the years went by, this talented performer's career continued to flourish, and in 1996, they made the transition to a new and exciting chapter, taking on the role of an actor at the Theatre of Contemporary Play, where they have been actively involved in the world of theatre ever since.

Throughout the year 1999, he embarked on a rigorous training regimen in preparation for a groundbreaking space mission to the renowned "Mir" space station, a historic orbital outpost that had been continuously occupied by cosmonauts since 1986.

However, fate had other plans, as the production of the film "Cassandra's Mark" took precedence over the space mission, ultimately leading to the cancellation of the astronaut's trip to the "Mir" station, denying him the opportunity to join the elite ranks of space travelers who had ventured to this iconic celestial destination.

Since the dawn of the millennium, he has simultaneously pursued a multifaceted career, simultaneously gracing the stages of the prestigious "Russian Entrepreneurship" theatre, the esteemed Moscow Sovet Theatre, and the avant-garde "Satyricon", while also assuming the mantle of artistic director for the renowned "Art School" theatre.
