Walter Fitzgerald, a renowned British actor, entered this world on May 18th, 1896, in the picturesque town of Devonport, situated in the southwestern English county of Devon, United Kingdom. This remarkable individual's acting career spanned multiple decades, leaving an indelible mark on the silver screen, with notable roles in the 1948 cinematic masterpiece "The Fallen Idol", the 1959 fantasy adventure film "Darby O'Gill and the Little People", and the 1950 classic adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless tale "Treasure Island". Throughout his personal life, Walter was twice married, first to Angela Kirk and then to Rosalie Constance Gray.
