During his formative years, Warren was an extremely active individual, dedicating himself to a variety of sports, including the fast-paced and physically demanding world of football, the skillful and strategic realm of hockey, and the classic and timeless pursuit of baseball.
As Warren progressed through his high school years at St. Raymond's, he began to lay the foundation for a lifelong passion for coaching, which would ultimately become a defining aspect of his professional and personal identity. His early coaching endeavors took place with the Morris Park Lions Football Club in the Bronx, where he initially served in the role of Stat-Man, carefully recording and analyzing the statistical performances of the team.
As Warren's skills and expertise continued to grow, he naturally ascended to the position of Assistant Coach, working closely with the team's Head Coach to develop and refine their strategies and tactics. Eventually, Warren's dedication and leadership abilities earned him the esteemed position of Head Coach, allowing him to take the reins and guide the team towards success.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Warren also played a crucial role in the organization's administrative structure, serving as the Vice President of the Morris Park Lions Football Club. This multifaceted role not only further showcased Warren's remarkable versatility and adaptability but also highlighted his commitment to the club and its members.
Warren, a highly accomplished coach, spent his formative years honing his skills at esteemed Catholic high schools, where he had the opportunity to shape the minds and abilities of young athletes. As his coaching career progressed, Warren further refined his expertise by working with youth camps affiliated with the National Football League (NFL) and USA Football, a premier organization dedicated to promoting the sport and ensuring player safety.
Following his distinguished coaching career, Warren turned his attention to securing a stable financial future, a goal he ultimately achieved after a few years of diligent effort. However, despite his newfound financial security, Warren couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing a sense of purpose and challenge.
It was at this pivotal moment that Warren decided to embark on a bold new chapter in his life, one that would take him in a dramatically different direction. He set his sights on a career in acting, a pursuit that would allow him to tap into his creative side, take on new challenges, and explore the vast expanse of human emotion.
Warren embarked on a journey of self-improvement, seeking to hone his acting skills by enrolling in acting classes at the esteemed T. Schreiber Studios and subsequently at H.B. Studios, where he had the privilege of studying under the expert guidance of the renowned Austin Pendleton.
Warren's professional trajectory took a significant turn as he assembled a new team, which subsequently led to a plethora of television appearances, including but not limited to the popular series Power Book II: Ghost, FBI, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Orange is the New Black, and numerous other notable programs.
It is no surprise that Warren's family has had a profound impact on his life, serving as a constant source of inspiration and guidance. In fact, he often draws upon the wisdom imparted by his loved ones, frequently referencing the poignant phrase, "Without family...Who are you?" This sentiment speaks volumes about the significance of family ties in Warren's life, and the profound influence they have had on his personal and professional development.
Notably, Warren's artistic endeavors extend far beyond the realm of television, as he has also pursued a distinguished career in the theatre. His theatrical credits include participation in the developmental workshop of the play "HARRY TOWNSEND'S LAST STAND", where he shared the stage with the renowned Tony Award-winning actor Len Cariou. Subsequently, Warren had the opportunity to understudy both Tony Award nominee Craig Bierko and David Lansbury in the full production at New York City Center, under the direction of the accomplished Karen Carpenter.
Warren has also made appearances in a wide range of productions, including several notable theatrical productions. One such production is THE RENEGADE THEATRE's staging of LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS, which was skillfully directed by the renowned Steven Van Zandt. Additionally, Warren has been involved in the Zoom production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, a classic play that was brought to life under the expert direction of Vincent Pastore.
Furthermore, Warren has had the opportunity to work with THE OPEN HYDRANT THEATRE on their production of OUR LADY OF 121st Street, a captivating play that was masterfully directed by the talented Luis Cardenas. He has also had the privilege of taking on multiple roles in the Off Broadway phenomenon, MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING, as well as its equally entertaining sequel, MY BIG GAY ITALIAN FUNERAL.
Warren's impressive acting career has been marked by a diverse range of notable roles, including appearances in THE MUTILATED, a Tennessee Williams Comedy/Musical, where he had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned talents such as Mink Stole and Penny Arcade. For his outstanding performance in this production, Warren received a prestigious Drama League Award Nomination, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.
In addition to his work in THE MUTILATED, Warren has also had the opportunity to showcase his talents in THE OPEN HYDRANT THEATRE's production of FOOLS IN LOVE, expertly directed by the accomplished Sarah "Rosie" Rosenberg. Furthermore, he has participated in various workshops, honing his skills and exploring new artistic avenues. Some of these workshops include STONEWALL, A RHAPSODY ON RESISTANCE, and GUYS & DOLLS, a testament to Warren's commitment to continuous growth and improvement as an artist.
