His professional journey began in 1978 when he joined the renowned band of the legendary Frank Zappa, subsequently becoming an integral part of the iconic "Joe's Garage" album.
In 1980, Warren founded the influential 80's new wave band Missing Persons, alongside Dale and Terry Bozzio. For six years, he was an integral member of the group, contributing to their distinctive sound and style.
