Feng Shaofeng, a renowned Chinese actor, was born into an affluent family in Shanghai, where his interest in acting and performance was evident from a young age. Influenced by his mother, an art enthusiast, Feng pursued his passion for acting at the Shanghai Theater Academy, where he studied the craft and graduated in 2001.
After a decade of working as a television actor, Feng's career took off with his breakout role in the period drama "Gong" (2011). This success led him to shift his focus to film, taking on a diverse range of roles that showcased his versatility as an actor.
In "White Vengeance" (2011),Feng played the tragic hero Xiang Yu, delivering a standout performance. Feng's interest in fantasy films was sparked by his role in "The Monkey King 2" (2016),where he played the iconic Monk Tang Sanzang alongside Li Gong and Aaron Kwok. He then starred in China's first Sci-Fi movie, "The Three-Body Problem: I" (2017),based on the Hugo Award-winning novel.
In addition to his acting work, Feng has taken on producing duties behind the scenes, starring in and producing fantasy TV shows such as "Ice Fantasy" (2016) and "The Starry Night, the Starry Sea" (2017).
