Yves Pelletier, a multifaceted and accomplished Canadian filmmaker, actor, and comedian, made his entry into the world on January 15, 1961. Throughout his illustrious career, he has garnered widespread recognition for his profound connection with the prestigious comedy troupe "Rock et Belles Oreilles" (R.B.O.),a collaborative endeavour that he embarked upon in 1981 and remained an integral part of until the group's eventual disbandment in 1995.

Pelletier's foray into the realm of film direction commenced in the year 2004 with the release of his inaugural cinematic endeavour, "Love and Magnets", thus inaugurating a new chapter in his professional life as a filmmaker.
