Zach McGowan was born and raised in the iconic city of New York, where his passion for acting was first ignited through his involvement in school productions. As he progressed through his high school and college years, his love for the stage only continued to grow, eventually leading him to the New York City stage in 2003. There, he had the opportunity to hone his craft in numerous off-Broadway productions, further refining his skills as a performer.
In 2005, Zach made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, seeking to expand his horizons and pursue a career in film and television. His filmography boasts a diverse range of projects, including Terminator Salvation, directed by the renowned McG; The Hunt For Eagle One, a Sony Screen Gems production directed by Brian Clyde; Crash Point, another Sony Screen Gems film, directed by Henry Crum; and Seal Team Six, a film directed by Mark Andrews.
On the small screen, Zach has made appearances in several notable television shows, including the premiere episode of the fifth season of Numb3rs, as well as season 7, episode 6 of CSI Miami. His work in short films has also been highly praised, with leading roles in The 14th Morning, which screened at the LA International Short Film Festival, the New Haven Film Festival, and The Method Festival, and Sadiq, an official 2006 MTVU Student Film Maker Award nominee and winner of Best Short at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.
