Zoie Palmer is a talented English-Canadian actress born in Calne, Wiltshire, England, to parents of Irish and British descent. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2001.
Throughout her career, Palmer has been featured in a wide range of film and television projects. Some of her notable roles include Patti Reagan in the critically acclaimed film The Reagans (2003),Didi Goldstein in Out of the Ashes (2003),and Abby in Devil's Perch (2005).
Palmer has also made guest appearances in several television series, such as Nikita (2010),Call Me Fitz (2010),and The Listener (2009). She had a recurring role in the popular CTV music drama Instant Star (2004-2007) as rock singer Patsy Sewer.
In addition to her television work, Palmer has appeared in several films, including the award-winning short Terminal Venus (2003),the horror thriller Devil (2010),the crime thriller Cold Blooded (2012),the comedy Sex After Kids (2013),and the fantasy adventure Patch Town (2014).
Palmer's performances have earned her several award nominations and wins. She was nominated for "Outstanding Performance - Female" by ACTRA for her performance in The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard (2010). She won the "Best Actor" award for Terminal Venus at the 2004 Baja Film Festival (Mexico) and the "Gold Medallion Acting Award for Best Actress in a Feature Film" for Cold Blooded at the 2012 BareBones International Film Festival (US).
In 2014, Palmer received the "Fan Choice Award for Favourite Canadian Screen Star" by the Canadian Screen Awards.
