In this action-packed film, a notorious outlaw named Dick Turpin wreaks havoc in the rural town of Upper Dencher. To put an end to his reign of terror, Captain Fancey and Sergeant Jock Strapp join forces with the enigmatic Reverend Flasher. However, they soon discover that the priest has a secret identity, which adds a layer of complexity to their mission. Meanwhile, a sultry cabaret troupe called the "Birds of Paradise" arrives in town, led by the charismatic Madame Desiree.
