Andrew Detmer, a shy and isolated teenager, is bullied and friendless at school. He lives with his abusive father and terminally ill mother, and finds solace in filming his daily life with a new camera. When he and his cousin Matt discover a tunnel, they develop telekinetic powers, with Andrew becoming the most powerful. However, his temper quickly gets the better of him, putting those around him in danger.
