The legendary King Arthur's story is retold as Uthur Pendragon receives the mystical sword Excalibur from wizard Merlin. After Uthur's death, the sword is buried in a stone, and the next man to retrieve it will become King of England. Years later, Arthur, Uthur's illegitimate son, pulls out Excalibur and claims the throne. With Merlin's guidance, Arthur marries Guenevere and forms the Knights of the Round Table. However, his half-sister Morgana's treacherous son may ultimately prove to be his downfall.
