Eleven-year-old Kevin, neglected by his parents, is thrilled to discover a group of six time-traveling dwarfs in his bedroom. They've stolen a map of time and space and whisk Kevin away on a journey through history, visiting different eras. However, their adventure is threatened by the Evil Genius, who's after the map. Kevin's ordinary room turns out to be a portal to a world of adventure.
