Gabriela Diaz, a San Francisco designer, enters a contest to win an inn in New Zealand's countryside after a break-up and a night of wine and Wi-Fi. She wins and arrives at The Bellbird Valley Farm, which needs renovation. She partners with Jake Taylor, a local contractor and volunteer firefighter, to restore the property. As they work together, Gabriela grows attached to the inn, Jake, and the community, and must decide whether to stay or leave.
