Fred Claus, Santa's older brother, relocates to the North Pole to assist Santa and the elves in preparing for Christmas, accepting a financial incentive in exchange for his help.

Fred Claus, a charismatic but self-centered individual, is desperate to raise $50,000 to open an off-track-betting shop. When his latest scam goes wrong, he turns to his brother Nick, aka Santa Claus, for a loan, but only if he agrees to help with the Christmas rush at the North Pole.
