Rollie Tyler, a former F/X expert, has traded in his skills for a career as a toy maker. When his girlfriend's ex-husband, a police officer, asks for his help in capturing a killer, Rollie agrees to assist. However, the operation takes a deadly turn when the killer and the officer are both murdered, and Rollie realizes that his girlfriend's ex-husband's boss is involved in the cover-up. Rollie turns to a former ally, now a private investigator, to unravel the complex web of deceit and uncover the truth.
