A passenger-filled highway coach travels from Eastern Nepal to Kathmandu, encountering various delays, including a bandh. The passengers, including a "bride" and "groom" who are actually strangers, devise a plan to bypass the bandh by posing as a wedding party. As they navigate their journey, the passengers' stories intertwine, revealing personal struggles and relationships, including a medical student torn between two lovers, a gay man facing parental disapproval, and a military officer racing to see his wife before she gives birth. Their lives become even more connected after a pivotal incident at their destination.
