Two men, Leschenhaut and Morillon, are planning to overthrow the French government and establish a fascist regime. However, their plot is foiled by Davis, an American boxer and tutor to Paul de Villemont, who stumbles upon their plan while at Villemont Manor. After the boy is kidnapped, Davis travels to Rome to rescue him, where the kidnappers demand the exchange of the boy for a list of stolen members that Davis plans to reveal to the press.
