Nick and Brandon's years-long relationship is on the rocks after Nick's HIV diagnosis. One year later, Nick's immune system is severely compromised, and a CT scan confirms he has Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy, a fatal condition that will leave him unrecognizable to those he loves within days. With only a short time left, Nick decides to end his life before the disease takes over, but his family and friends are shocked and some, including Brandon, are unwelcome at his farewell party.
