In this action-packed movie, Old Wu seeks revenge against Yee, a powerful official in Japanese-ruled Shanghai, after losing his loved ones. He enlists the help of a troupe of drama students, including Mai Tai Tai, who befriends Yee's wife and eventually him. Despite their initial connection, they go their separate ways, only to reunite four years later.
