A young boy named Bodi dreams of having his own puppy, but his busy mother can only offer to watch a friend's mischievous dog, Marley, for the summer. Bodi's grandfather, a strict Marine veteran, agrees to let him participate in a local puppy obedience show if he does well. Bodi decides to form a team with his grandfather's neighbor's puppies, Moose and Fuchsia, to compete against the ruthless title defender, Hans Von Weiselberger, who uses his henchmen to cheat and intimidate the competition.
