A couple of professional small-time con artists, Roy and Frank, swindle people by selling overpriced water filtration systems, promising bogus prizes. Roy, an obsessive-compulsive agoraphobe, seeks therapy to improve his criminal productivity. He discovers he has a 14-year-old daughter, Angela, who wants to meet him. At first, her presence disrupts his routine, but he starts to enjoy their relationship. However, Angela becomes fascinated with her father's questionable career as a con artist.
