The film begins with a flashback of two friends, Saravanan and Parthasarathy, working at a popular cinema and sharing a close bond. Saravanan's mother, a hardworking woman, has spent over two decades striving to complete her son's education, as it is her husband's lifelong dream. Meanwhile, Saravanan falls head over heels in love with Meera at a traffic signal, and his friend Parthasarathy joins forces to help him win her heart.
