The Three Mesquiteers, a group of cowboys, team up to help George Brooke, the younger brother of Stony Brooke, who has been falsely accused of murder. They uncover a range war between cattlemen and sheepmen, and a corrupt sheriff controlled by John Harvey, who is trying to put the cattle out of business and has his sights on the Brooke family estate. The Mesquiteers thwart Harvey's plans, including a plot to blow up the jail, and ultimately expose Harvey as the real killer, allowing Stony to pursue a romance with Sylvia Ashton.
