Marnie and Dylan head to Witch U in Halloweentown, with Marnie receiving a full scholarship. However, her mother Gwen is opposed to her attending the school, so she convinces Dylan to join her. At the school, magic is forbidden for witches and warlocks. Marnie befriends a genie named Aneesa and discovers she's partly responsible for the magic ban.
