Some Came Running

A bitter veteran returns to his hometown of Parkman, Indiana, after the war, and is pursued by a woman who has fallen in love with him. He reconnects with his family and meets a beautiful school teacher who inspires his literary ambitions, but his unrequited love drives him to seek solace in a local bar, where he becomes embroiled in a tragic situation.
