In a small Texan town, two detectives, Souder and Heigh, investigate a series of gruesome murders in a local marsh known as 'The Killing Fields'. Despite the crimes being outside their jurisdiction, Heigh feels compelled to solve the case, leading him to take risks and put himself and his partner in danger.
