A charming but slightly shady elementary school teacher, Jack, scours the streets of New York City for attractive women to use his well-rehearsed pick-up line on. Despite his surface charm and vintage red Camaro, Jack's attempts are only successful a small percentage of the time. His life takes a turn when he meets Randy, a tour guide at the American Museum of Natural History, who is trying to pay off her father's debt to a mobster. Jack becomes smitten with Randy and tries to help her, unaware of her full situation with the mobster.
