On Christmas Eve, boxer Frank Diaz's world is turned upside down when he loses his fight and is subsequently evicted from his home, leaving him and his family to seek shelter. With his wife Angela, and their children Justin and Christina, Frank is forced to navigate a desperate search for a new place to live, only to discover that securing an apartment requires a labor contract. With Christmas just hours away, Frank must find a job, a seemingly impossible task given his illiteracy, in order to provide a roof over his family's head.
