A mysterious monster gives humanity a chance to save the planet by allowing them to become homeroom teachers and learn valuable skills from their students, all while racing against the clock to develop a plan to defeat the monster before it destroys Earth in a year.

A powerful creature, responsible for the Moon's destruction, threatens to destroy the Earth within a year. At Kunugigaoka Junior High School, this creature, Korosensei, serves as a homeroom teacher, teaching various subjects and assassination skills to its students. The Japanese government offers a ¥10 billion reward to anyone who can kill Korosensei, a seemingly impossible feat due to its incredible abilities, including Mach 20 speed.
