A curious Gnome named Gnorm steals magic stones to impress lady Gnomes, but ends up witnessing a murder on the surface. The killer takes the stones, and Detective Casey, who was working with the victim, is blamed for the botched sting. Casey teams up with Gnorm to catch the killer, but needs the help of Samantha, who initially thinks Casey is crazy since no one else knows about Gnomes.
