Native Texan, Mr. Harelik, had the unique experience of growing up in the only Jewish family in the small, rural town of Hamilton, located in the heart of central Texas. This distinctive upbringing would later serve as the inspiration for his two biographical plays, The Immigrant and The Legacy, which are set against the backdrop of his hometown.
In collaboration with Randal Myler, Mr. Harelik co-wrote the biographical musical, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, which tells the captivating story of the legendary country singer, Hank Williams.
