Vivek Kharbanda, a U.S. Real Estate Tycoon, is proud of his Indian heritage but resentful of the British. His daughter Vidhi lies about her boyfriend Harry's ethnicity to avoid a confrontation. Vivek asks for a British butler to "put the British in their place." Harry, a Theater Major and descendant of British royalty, decides to play the role to impress Vidhi. The couple bets that if Harry can fool Vivek, Vidhi will accept her father's racism. Meanwhile, a sinister plot unfolds at Vivek's company as trusted employees Chris and Rachael plan to take over.
